MED Online launched to market

In September 2003, the online edition of the Macmillan English Dictionary was launched. Available free of charge to anyone who already owned the dictionary, the new online resource provides a range of functions, including pronunciations, access to both British English and American English editions of the dictionary and the ability to use MED whilst accessing the internet.

Network Edition CD-ROM for MED

A Network Edition of the popular Macmillan English Dictionary CD-ROM was launched at the end of 2003. Available in both British and American English versions, it included all of the features from the original CD-Rom. The standard licence allowed for 10 simultaneous users, increasing to 25, 50 or more via a simple upgrade procedure.
